Robotics

4^th and 5^th Grade Competition Teams: Teams of Five Students (4^th and 5th Graders Only) 

1. These teams will compete in Vex IQ tournaments beginning in Oct/Nov with the goal to qualify for state (Feb) and nationals (May)! 
2. Weekly meetings on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:00- 4:30 starting in May and going through State/National Competitions. 

Our 4^th and 5th Grade Robotics teams are picked from yearly tryouts in the month of April.  Our team for the 25/26 school year has already been chosen. Enrolled students should utilize their Canvas page for all up-to-date information regarding robotics.

2^nd Grade After School Classes: Teams of Two Students (2nd Graders Only) 

1. Teams of two students will work with VEX GO kits to build robots competing in classroom meets using driving and coding skills.
2. Weekly meetings on Wednesdays from 3:00- 4:30 starting in August and running for 6 weeks. A link will be sent out to sign up. Other grade levels will be offered robotics classes later in the year. Please email Mrs. Molter at jmolter@forsyth.k12.ga.us with any questions.
